Who should undergo this qualification?
This qualification is designed for employees working in hospitals, residential care or nursing homes in both the public and private sectors.
Why is this training important?
All employees must receive adequate health and safety training. For a health care setting the Department of Health code of practice also requires everyone involved in care provision must have adequate training to tackle the risk of Health Care Acquired Infection (HCAI).
