This course provides candidates with information on basic health and safety requirements in the workplace.

Who should undergo this qualification?
Staff who are entering a workplace for the first time whether that is starting employment for the first time or starting a new job. This course can be used as part of their induction programme.

Why is this training important?
Employers must provide all employees with adequate health and safety training, this qualification can be used as an induction and a starting point for training. More detailed training can then follow with the Level 2 qualification.
